An estimated 1.5 million Americans have Parkinson’s disease. One out of every five over the age of sixty-two are diagnosed with a neurological disease; the first being Alzheimer’s and the second, Parkinson’s.

Parkinson's Disease is a degenerative disorder of the Central Nervous System that often impairs the sufferer's motor skills, speech, and other function. PD can cause physical and cognitive changes, i.e. memory loss, abnormal fatigue, difficulty concentrating, and depression.

The Cedars Assisted Living, can bridge the gap for people with Parkinson's Disease who are able to maintain a fairly high level of independence but who also need some assistance to meet the demands of the disease.
